Reissue SSL Certificate

SSL Certificates can be reissued if needed, allowing customers to obtain a new SSL Certificate without purchasing a new order.

This is useful in cases where a private key has been lost, the server configuration has changed, or a SSL Certificate needs to be reinstalled.

Trustico® makes the reissuance process simple and efficient, ensuring that customers and partners can quickly generate a new SSL Certificate when required.

Reissuing an SSL Certificate does not negatively affect the validity period of the original SSL Certificate. The newly issued Certificate will maintain the same expiration date as the previous one, ensuring continued protection without altering the original term.

However, if the SSL Certificate was previously not able to be issued for its maximum validity, the expiration date will be extended to a new maximum validity period.

Reissuing an SSL Certificate Through Trustico®

Trustico® offers an easy-to-use tracking system that allows customers and partners to manage their SSL Certificates, including requesting reissuance. To begin the process, customers should log in to the Trustico® tracking system, locate their active Certificate, and follow the reissuance instructions.

During the reissuance process, customers will usually need to generate a new Certificate Signing Request (CSR) and ensure that their domain validation is still in place. Once these steps are completed, Trustico® will process the request and issue a new SSL Certificate.

Seamless Management for Partners

Trustico® partners also have access to the tracking system, allowing them to manage reissuance requests efficiently for their customers. Since SSL Certificates are a critical part of website security, the ability to reissue Certificates quickly ensures uninterrupted protection and a seamless experience.

For any assistance with reissuing an SSL Certificate, customers and partners can reach out to our support team for guidance.
